Route any Sky box to any display, change channels across your venue, and automate match-day setups — from a dedicated Android tablet behind the bar.
Purpose-built tools for pubs, bars, hotels, and sports venues that manage multiple TVs and Sky boxes.
Drag a Sky box onto a TV to route it instantly. No need to physically access any equipment or navigate matrix menus.
Install the Android app on a dedicated tablet behind the bar. Hardware-locked to your venue for security — no personal devices needed.
Save presets like "Match Day" or "Quiz Night" and apply them with one tap. Schedule them to activate automatically.
Every screen updates in real time. When one person changes a channel, all connected devices see the update immediately.
Manage multiple pubs from a single dashboard. Each venue has its own hardware, staff, and configuration — all centralised.
The on-site agent keeps your venue operational even if the internet drops. Control resumes automatically when connectivity returns.
No complex wiring changes. MatrixControl works with your existing HDMI matrix and Sky boxes.
Connect a small device to your venue network. It discovers your HDMI matrix and Sky boxes automatically — no manual IP configuration needed.
Name each Sky box and TV in the dashboard. Map them to their matrix inputs and outputs. Group displays into zones like "Main Bar" or "Beer Garden".
Drag sources onto displays to route them. Tap a channel to tune any Sky box. Save your favourite setups as scenes and share control with your staff.
When the football starts at 3pm, your bar shouldn't still be scrambling with remotes. Save a "Match Day" scene and apply it instantly — every TV switches to the right source and channel simultaneously.
Browse channels with an EPG picker showing logos and what's on now. Or type a channel number directly. Either way, the Sky box tunes instantly over your network — no line of sight needed.
No per-venue fees. No per-user fees. Pay only for each installed tablet.

We used to spend ten minutes before every match finding the right remotes and getting each TV on the right channel. Now our staff tap one button on their phone and every screen is sorted in seconds.
You need an HDMI matrix switch (we support Blustream, HDANYWHERE, Pulse-Eight, Octava, and any generic TCP-controllable matrix), your existing Sky boxes, and a small always-on device (Intel NUC, mini-PC, or Raspberry Pi) connected to your venue network to run the MatrixControl agent.
Yes. Sky Q boxes are controlled over your local network via the standard port 49160 protocol. Sky Stream and Sky Glass use the Android TV Remote protocol. For any box where network control isn't possible, we fall back to IR blaster control — which works with every Sky box regardless of model or firmware.
The on-site agent continues to work. All matrix routing and Sky box control happens locally on your network, so your staff can still operate everything. When the internet comes back, state syncs automatically with the cloud dashboard.
MatrixControl is a control tool — it doesn't provide, decrypt, or redistribute any AV signal. If you're showing Sky in a commercial premises, you do need the appropriate Sky Business commercial viewing agreement directly with Sky. We'll ask you to confirm this during setup.
